After falling 5-10 in the first game of this 3-game series against the Chicago Cubs, the Dodgers are looking to bounce back. Since returning from his injury Skubal, has an ERA of 2.03 in the 5 appearances he made in July with Detroit. Despite being a on a 4-game losing streak, the Dodgers remain the favorite to win the World Series again this year, and be the first big four team to 3-peat since the Shaq & Kobe Lakers.

The Seattle Mariners (55-58) take on the Detroit Tigers (54-58) to kick off a 3-game series in Seattle tonight. Both teams are trying to reclaim the play that led them to meeting eachother in an iconic ALDS in 2025 that ended on a 15th inning walk-off win for the Mariners. The Mariners currently sit 2.5 games back of the division leading Houston Astros while the Tigers are 5.5 games behind the suprising emergence of the Chicago White Sox (59-52).

In a race for 2nd place in the NL West, the San Diego Padres (58-55) look to win tonight against the Arizona Diamondbacks (60-53), in a season series that is currently led by the D-Backs (4-3).
