2. Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. This information is used to identify your account and communicate with you about the service.

b. Streaming Subscriptions

You may provide information about which streaming services you subscribe to, such as ESPN+, Netflix, YouTube TV, Hulu, and others. You may also provide details about your plan or tier. This information is used to personalize your experience and show you the most relevant broadcast options.

c. Device & TV Information

When you connect a TV or streaming device to EntitledSports, we collect information about the device, including its type (Roku, Fire TV, Samsung, LG, Google TV), device name, model, connection status, and a hashed network identifier used to associate devices with locations. This information is used to control and communicate with your devices.

d. Viewing Activity

We collect information about how you use the app, including games you view, teams you follow, leagues of interest, and general feature usage patterns. This information helps us personalize your experience and improve the service.

e. Technical Data

We automatically collect certain technical information, including your device type, operating system version, app version, IP address, approximate location (latitude and longitude, rounded to reduce precision to approximately 1 km), push notification tokens, and crash logs or performance data. This information helps us maintain and improve the app.

f. Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous usage data, including screen views and feature usage, aggregate user properties (such as number of teams followed, services connected, and connected device status), and login or signup events. This data is used in aggregate to understand how the app is used and to improve the service. It is not used to personally identify you.

g. Waitlist & Signup Data

When you sign up for our waitlist or early access program, we collect basic browser metadata alongside your submission, including browser type, screen size, language preferences, and referral source. This data is used solely for bot detection and fraud prevention to protect the integrity of our signup process. It is associated with your individual signup record and is not used for cross-site tracking, advertising, or behavioral profiling.

What We Don't Collect

EntitledSports does not collect:

• MAC addresses or hardware identifiers of your devices or network equipment
• Network data such as Wi-Fi passwords, SSIDs, router information, or local network traffic
• Browsing history or activity outside of the EntitledSports app

When EntitledSports communicates with your TV or streaming device, it does so over your local network using standard discovery protocols. We do not store, transmit, or log any network-level data from these interactions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and personalize the service, including matching you to the right channels and apps based on your subscriptions
• Show accurate broadcast options for the games you care about
• Connect to and control your TV devices
• Improve the app, fix bugs, and develop new features
• Communicate with you about service updates and new features
• Generate aggregate, non-identifying analytics to understand how the service is used

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers — We work with trusted third-party providers for hosting, analytics, and infrastructure, including Google (Firebase Analytics and Authentication). These providers are bound by strict data processing agreements and may only use your information to provide services to us.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, such as in response to a subpoena, court order, or government request.
• Business transfers — In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such change.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe.

Viewing activity and usage data may be retained in aggregate or anonymized form for analytical purposes, even after account deletion. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

We take the security of your information seriously. We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption of data in transit and at rest, to protect your personal information.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

EntitledSports is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
