Where to Watch Pittsburgh Pirates vs San Diego Padres

You can watch on SNP, Sportsnet Pittburgh+, Padres.TV, ESPN Unlimited and MLB.TV.

Yes. ESPN Unlimited and MLB.TV stream this game without a cable subscription, wherever you live.
Sportsnet Pittburgh+ and Padres.TV also stream it without cable, but these are regional products that work only inside their own market.

Both carry Padres.TV and MLB.TV as a separate paid add-on, not part of their base plans. The trade is convenience: it runs inside one app with everything else you watch, billed through one account.

ESPN Select is the former ESPN+ catalog with no linear channels. ESPN Unlimited is $29.99 per month or $299.99 per year, rising to $31.99 and $319.99 on September 17, 2026, and adds every ESPN linear channel including SEC Network, and ACC Network.

The game starts at 9:40 PM ET on 8/25.
