Men’s college basketball opens tonight with 182 games, and the 4 that matter are in Tampa, Las Vegas and Salt Lake City rather than on campus. Monday Night Football is the night’s best matchup of strengths: Chicago leads the NFL at 154.3 rushing yards a game and Seattle has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 36 straight games. Boston at 5-1 visits Houston at 6-1 at 8:30, the best of the 15 NBA games.
EntitledSports will publish a daily round-up of all the major games available through streaming and terrestrial broadcast tv or cable for sports fans. You can find the full schedules and ways to watch on the entitledsports.com/schedule.
OKC Thunder @ CLE Cavaliers — 7:00 PM ET
NBA · Watch on NBC Sports Network, WOIO CBS 19, Rock Entertainment Sports Network, WUAB MyNetwork 43, Peacock, Cavaliers on DAZN
The Oklahoma City Thunder (4-2) opened 4-0 and have lost 2 since, with a roster that has been missing Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Alex Caruso and Cason Wallace. The Cleveland Cavaliers (4-2) sit 4th in the East and come in off a win. Oklahoma City has not looked like the 4-0 team it was 10 days ago, and this is where we find out whether that is the injuries or something slower.
VGK Knights @ BOS Bruins — 7:00 PM ET
NHL · Watch on NHL Network, TVAS, New England Sports Network, Vegas 34, Sportsnet.ca, NESN 360, ESPN+
The Boston Bruins (10-4-1) have 21 points and sit 2nd in the East. The Vegas Golden Knights (9-5-1) have 19 and sit 3rd in the West. 2 of the best teams in the league on a Monday in early November, which is the kind of game that gets buried and should not be.
CHI Bears @ SEA Seahawks — 8:15 PM ET
NFL · Watch on ESPN Unlimited
The Chicago Bears (5-2) lead the NFL at 154.3 rushing yards a game, and D’Andre Swift has 628 yards and 7 TDs. The Seattle Seahawks (4-3) have not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 36 straight games, the longest active streak in football, and they just held Kansas City to 3 points. Chicago sits 2nd in the NFC North behind a 6-0 Minnesota and Seattle 2nd in the West behind a 6-1 San Francisco, so the loser spends November chasing.
BOS Celtics @ HOU Rockets — 8:30 PM ET
NBA · Watch on NBC Sports Boston+, Space City Home Network, NBA League Pass
The Houston Rockets (6-1) have the best record in the West. The Boston Celtics (5-1) beat Orlando 108-97 on Sunday afternoon behind Jayson Tatum and arrive in Houston on the back half of a road back-to-back. The 2 best records on tonight’s board, with the schedule doing Houston a favor.
POR Blazers @ DEN Nuggets — 9:00 PM ET
NBA · Watch on Altitude+, BlazerVision, NBA League Pass
The Portland Trail Blazers (4-1) are 3rd in the West with Damian Lillard back from the Achilles and Ja Morant running the offense after June’s trade out of Memphis. The Denver Nuggets (3-2) have Nikola Jokic, who passed 200 career triple-doubles last week and is now inside 10 of Russell Westbrook’s record 209. Portland has been the surprise of the first 2 weeks and Denver is the measuring stick.
MIA Heat @ LAL Lakers — 10:00 PM ET
NBA · Watch on Local10+, Spectrum Sportsnet, Spectrum SportsNet+, NBA League Pass
The Los Angeles Lakers (5-2) beat Toronto 131-125 on Sunday night with Luka Doncic carrying it again, and they are home on the second night of a back-to-back. The Miami Heat (2-4) are 10th in the East and have won 2 straight. Late window, tired home team, and a Miami side that has quietly stopped losing.
College Basketball Opens Tonight
The men’s season tips with 182 games, and 4 are worth planning around. Miami vs Florida puts the 14 Hurricanes against the preseason 1 Gators in Tampa at 6:00 on ESPN2. TNT, truTV and HBO Max then run a Hall of Fame Series doubleheader from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas: Gonzaga vs Purdue at 7:30, the 15 Bulldogs against an unranked Purdue, then Arizona vs UCLA at 10:00, the 5 Wildcats against the 22 Bruins. Ohio State vs BYU goes at 9:00 on FS1 from the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. Almost everything else is a home team hosting a guarantee game behind ACC Network Extra, SEC Network+, B1G+ or ESPN+, which are add-ons rather than part of a cable package, and 16 games still have no listed carrier at all. The full slate is on the NCAAM schedule page.
