Tonight's slate is headlined by the World Series Game 1.

The World Series opens in Milwaukee tonight, and it ends with a 1st-time champion either way. Prime Video has 2 NBA games around it, including Paul George’s 2nd game as a Celtic after a 38-point debut. Friday night college football fills the rest of the slate, from 7:00 all the way to a 10:30 kick in Palo Alto.

EntitledSports will publish a daily round-up of all the major games available through streaming and terrestrial broadcast tv or cable for sports fans. You can find the full schedules and ways to watch on the entitledsports.com/schedule.

NYK Knicks @ BOS Celtics — 7:00 PM ET

NBA · Watch on Prime Video

Paul George dropped 38 in his Boston debut, the most by any Celtic in a first game with the team, and the Boston Celtics (0-1) still lost at home to Detroit. The New York Knicks (0-1) have a different problem: KAT spent 3 quarters in foul trouble and Jalen Brunson shot 6-for-19 against a Philadelphia defense equipped to stop him. Both openers raised the same question about whether the new pieces fit, and this is the first chance either team gets to answer it.

Duke (4-2) @ Virginia (4-3) — 7:00 PM ET

NCAAF · Watch on ESPN Unlimited

The Duke Blue Devils (4-2, 1-2 ACC) have lost twice by a combined 7 points, and Nate Sheppard has carried the offense with 820 rushing yards, 259 receiving and 12 total TDs. The Virginia Cavaliers (4-3, 2-2 ACC) are 4-0 at home and lost to SMU last week. The 2 teams split a strange 2025: Virginia won the regular-season meeting 34-17, Duke took the ACC title game in OT. Charlottesville on a Friday night with the loser out of the ACC race for good.

TB Rays @ MIL Brewers — 8:00 PM ET

MLB · Watch on FOX, FOXONE

Game 1 of the World Series at American Family Field, and it ends with a 1st-time champion. The Milwaukee Brewers (103-59) swept the 2-time defending champion LA Dodgers to get here and went 59-26 at home. The Tampa Bay Rays (98-64) needed 6 games to get past Cleveland and are 46-39 on the road counting the postseason. Jacob Misiorowski (16-5, 1.80) against Drew Rasmussen (16-5, 2.67) is the best pitching matchup this October has produced.

Army (4-2) @ Tulsa (4-3) — 8:30 PM ET

NCAAF · Watch on ESPN2, ESPN Unlimited

The Army Black Knights (4-2) run the ball 1st in FBS at 357.5 yards a game and throw it 137th at 69.2, which is less a balance problem than a philosophy. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane (4-3) allow 191.6 rushing yards a game, 121st nationally. If Tulsa has not fixed its run defense in a week, this one is decided by halftime.

HOU Rockets @ SAS Spurs — 9:30 PM ET

NBA · Watch on Prime Video

The Houston Rockets (1-0) opened with a 128-110 win over Dallas, and Fred VanVleet, 32 and a year off a torn ACL, ran the offense for 11 assists. The San Antonio Spurs (0-1) got a quiet night from Wemby and a ethical 14 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists from De’Aaron Fox against Oklahoma City. Wembanyama’s response to a bad opener is the overarching question going into tonights matchup.

NC State (3-3) @ Stanford (3-4) — 10:30 PM ET

NCAAF · Watch on ESPN Unlimited

The Stanford Cardinal (3-4, 1-3 ACC) just posted season highs of 222 rushing and 515 total yards on Elon, with Micah Ford running for 179 and 4 TDs. The NC State Wolfpack (3-3, 1-2 ACC) have CJ Bailey at 1,507 passing yards and Popo Aguirre leading FBS with 3 fumble recoveries. Stanford is 3-1 at home, and the question at 10:30 ET is whether that run game works against an ACC front.
