Little League Classic Headlines Sunday’s Games to Watch

Williamsport gets the Braves and the Brewers on ESPN tonight, and Newcastle host Liverpool this morning with two brand-new managers taking charge for the first time. Better Sunday than the schedule suggested.

EntitledSports will publish a daily round-up of all the major games available through streaming and terrestrial broadcast tv or cable for sports fans. You can find the full schedules and ways to watch on the entitledsports.com/schedule.

LIV Liverpool @ NEW Newcastle United — 11:30 AM ET

EPL · Watch on USA Network

Two managers make their competitive debuts. Liverpool arrive at St James’ Park under Andoni Iraola. Newcastle have handed the job to 38-year-old Matthias Jaissle and neither squad looks much like last season’s.

TB Rays @ BAL Orioles — 1:35 PM ET

MLB · Watch on MASN, MASN+, RAYS.TV, ESPN Unlimited, MLB.TV

The AL Wild Card race has six teams packed inside two games, and the Baltimore Orioles (62-67) are one of them, roughly a game out of the last spot. They get the Tampa Bay Rays (76-52), the AL leaders, playing with house money. On paper it is the most competitive matchup of the day. Nick Martinez (12-4, 3.05) and Shane Baz (4-13, 4.02) are the listed starters.

CIN Reds @ ARI Diamondbacks — 4:15 PM ET

MLB · Watch on Peacock

The Arizona Diamondbacks (68-61) sit a game out of the final NL Wild Card spot and host the Cincinnati Reds (61-68), who are 19 back in the Central and officially playing spoiler. Andrew Abbott (6-8, 4.07) starts for Cincinnati. This one is a Peacock exclusive, so there is no cable fallback.

IND Fever @ CHI Sky — 7:00 PM ET

WNBA · Watch on NBC, Peacock

The Indiana Fever (24-13) visit the Chicago Sky (15-22) in the W’s Sunday night window on NBC. Indiana is in the playoffs with a month to go and Chicago is playing out the string, but this projects as the high scoring affair.

ATL Braves @ MIL Brewers — 7:10 PM ET

MLB · Watch on ESPN Unlimited

The Little League Classic takes over Sunday night, with the Milwaukee Brewers (80-49) and Atlanta Braves (75-54) at Journey Bank Ballpark in Williamsport in front of this year’s Little League World Series teams. Milwaukee has the best record in baseball and Atlanta leads the NL East by 4, so the ballpark is the gimmick but the baseball is real.
